Well.. here are a few more of them engagements, i sucked. 

Takin Pictures.

  I woke up at six thirty in the morning to go take pictures with my friend from photography class, Caitlyn. We had to do self portraits. It was not fun at all. I was tired... and to make it worse... It was raining and freezing! After taking pictures of ourselves... I realized that I wanted to take pictures of Cailyn for me to have. She just looked way pretty, her eyes especially! So I told her not to move and ran back to my car to get my digital camera. I ended up getting some neat ones of her even though the taking pictures of myself failed. So I guess ruining my white sneakers with mud and even dog crap... ended up being okay, because it turned out to be a good picture taking day.

Anorexia Nervosa

  A Problem Often Over-Looked.                           

   I did this for a photography assignment.  However, I changed it a little.  The assignment was to create a series of photos that tells a story or sequence.  For the actual assignment, I was using the idea of Bulimia. First photo of the sequence was a picture of my beautiful roommate, Maren, staring in the mirror.. hating her body.. Second photo was a picture of her by the toilet.. hunched over and miserable looking.  Third and final was this image. .. We made her make up look like her eyes had been sunk in.  Didn't really turn out very good... Then had her suck in as much as possible.. which was difficult considering she is actually pretty buff, she works out a ton, so her abs would show. For this actual picture I used a little bit of photoshop to bring out her ribs and to slim down her stomach. Promise. . she's not that disgusting. Maren is a model and she is beautiful.  She is nothing but sweet to me and I appreciate that.  I had an awesome time doing this assignment.  In critique everyone mentioned how.. we all bring up suicide, romance, sex, drugs, etc. in our photos.. but no one has ever touched base with eating disorders.  That is exactly why I decided to create this image.  Even though they consider this generation as an "obese" one, there are still girls out there who have major eating disorders.  We need to acknowledge this.  It's sad that one can acquire such a bad problem.  Girls should focus more on how beautiful they are as a person, not their appearance.  It's an issue that should be talked about and focused on at a young age.. and continued to be focused on.  Everyone is beautiful on the inside and out. 

I took pictures of Samantha for photography class.  I used black and white film, but also took a few digital at the same time.  We had a blast.  She was playin a character ( a rich girl ).

So I was just minding my own one day when I got a call from Shelly.  She told me that this girl who knows her friend saw the pictures I did of Shelly and loved them.  She wanted me to do her engagements.  Naturally I was a little freaked out.  I've never done such a thing.  Although scared, I was really excited to try something new.  The girls name is Allyson, she is way nice.  So we planned and executed.  I had a lot of fun doin the photos.  I am glad someone gave me the opportunity to try something like this.  I'm working on them still, but I have a few to put up on here.

A Day With Shelly

  For Shelly's 20th birthday.. We went out and took pictures.  We went to my favorite spot down by the Great Salt Lake Marina... It's this abandoned building with graffiti all over the walls on the outside and inside.  We also went to the Marina and took some pictures on the beach there. We were out there taking pictures almost all day, at least it felt like it.  We did take some up in Muellar Park Canyon, it's beautiful up there.  I'm only puttin a few of my favorite pictures on here right now.  I haven't even gotten them all done yet.  They are amazing.  We have another photoshoot being planned and I can't wait.  I'm absolutely stoked. 

Visiting Centerville.

  I went down to Centerville this weekend to visit my friends.   We had a fun time. Friday I went to dinner with Jordan, Jaimee, Bridget, and Samantha.  I miss them all so much.  After dinner we went to the Viewmont vs. Syracuse game.  It was pretty intense.. Viewmont pulled out a win in the last minute.  It was impressive.  Afterwards Samantha, Jaimee, and I hungout with Travis, Trevor, and Chris.  We had some fun taking pictures and stuff.  We are nerds.

   Then on Saturday.. I hungout with Desiree.  We played at Wal-Mart for a good two hours or so.  We have no life.  I miss all my friends.  I wish they were all up here with me at Utah State.  I'm going home again next weekend for farewells... and the weekend after that for Viewmonts Homecoming Game.  I'm super lame, I know.  I should probably just stay put up here, but there is so much going on down in C-Ville and B-Town.  I just don't wanna miss out.  :  ) 

College = Party? No.

Well... I pretty much stare at the wall everyday. No t.v. and no internet yet... my internet is not working for some stupid reason. My roommates are all way nice. We're all crazy in our own different ways. We made a quote wall in our living room... its filling up with bright colored sticky notes that have quotes on them from all of us. Everytime we say something way funny.... it goes up on the quote wall... the point of this.. would to add some color to our boring walls. Our apartment is lacking in some decorations. It's so boring. Pretty sure we all stay up pretty late every night. Which is bad.. considering my roommate Mandy can never make it to her 7:30 am math class. Good thing my class starts at 9.
Photography is way fun.. my teacher is so laid back and awesome. He use to shoot commercial photos.. He did the McFlurry cup..and the Cheeze-It box. And so much more. I can't wait to learn more stuff from that man. He knows a lot. Unlike my high school teacher, who just pretended. haha.
I'm struggling in my Drawing class... due to the fact i've never seriously drawn anything. It's crazy hard. I definately didn't get any talent from my mom.. that all went to my brother. He is so lucky. My teacher is a crazy hippie. She just stares.. and she never explains anything. We had our first real critique yesterday on our still life drawings... which was horrible. Mine was so bad. I'm just going to try and take it easy and not be so up tight about everything. Which will be hard for me to do... I never take anything lightly.. except for eating.
I don't eat... haha. Just kidding, I do. It's just usually top roman.. or fruit.. anything unhealthy really.. I am gonna try to eat healthy starting this weekend. It'll be hard though. Stupid college.. haha. I went to the gym with my roommates Megan and Maren. That was interesting. I about passed out and killed over. It was rough. haha. My goal is to lose at least 15 pounds. Good Luck to me.. Hopefully next time ya see me, I'll be lookin slimmer. :)

Model Business Ha.

 I recently helped Brooke out by being her model in some pictures.  I hate being in front of the camera, I'm sure you all know.  I had so much fun though.  We went to Liberty Park and I have never been there, It was way cool.  Perfect setting for taking pictures.  I definately want to shoot some pictures there myself.  I will post some more pictures if she edits more.  :)
