Des and I didn't have much time to get very many bridals done in time for her wedding.. as we took them the day before. She got her dress the night before we took them. soooooo I had very little time.. 365 Major Failure.

New Years Resolution bombed. I had to take a picture every single day for a year. .. Now I kept up for a long time.. However, I don't get the internet at my apartment on my computer. So.. Everything kinda got backed up on the posting. Then I got numerous 2D and photography projects thrown at me. Since I never had the time to worry about my photos and didn't even have a way of posting them anyways.. I decided to give up.. I'm gonna start over in the summer when I have time to concentrate on this. I still am taking pictures as often as I can. And I'm posting the ones that never got posted. Well only some. The ones I like the most. I feel like a total failure.. Hopefully, I can redeem myself starting this summer.

Don't worry folks.. I made it to The Sounds concert. I loved it. I touched Maja Ivarsson!! .. Came back with a million bruises and smelled of sweat and weed. haha. but it was all worth it. I am a little upset that Matt and Kim didn't end up opening for them... Instead some transvestite walked out in some short dress. He/She was seriously disgusting. They were called the Semi Precious Weapons. They SUCKED. Foxy Shazam did pretty good though. I danced my little heart out all night long. Best spent 24 dollars so far.

I've Been Hit By A Bus. . Or So It Seems.

Yet again I am sick. How come it seems like Logan is behind this whole thing. Last school year I seemed to have gotten sick time after another. I go home for the summer.. and I'm fine. Come back up to Logan to start a fresh new year.. and BAM.. who would have thought. I'm sick. I feel like I have been trampled on by a stampede of wild horses... picked up..and thrown against a brick building. It hurts to breathe, stand, sit, talk, swallow... I can move a little bit. My jaw kills .. like I got in some major boxing fight. I don't know what that's all about. It has never felt this way. All I can say is how majorly upset I am that It's only been a week and a half and I'm already sick again. I missed out on our floor party. (the apartments on our floor got together for dinner in the hallway) Instead of attending it .. I was lying on the floor in our apartment watching some stupid tv show that I was only half paying attention to. I doubt I will be making it to class in the morning.. although I should. Instead I'll do some reading, sleeping, and image journal making. haha.
Good ol' Photography class. My professor Chris Gauthier...is so into these image journals... I can never quite grasp what he means.. Everytime I try, he says I'm wrong. Maybe this time I will get it. Doublful.. but maybe. It isn't hard at all.. I'm just a ratard. Well, hopefully I can go get a good nights rest now. . . until next time.

First Week of College..Once Again.

Well I got to my apartment sunday night before school started and found that there was absolutely no where to park. I got so frustrated and just wanted to give up. Finally, I found a space on the side of the road that I could fit in. In the morning when I walked up to my car I saw this bright orange envelope and realized that my front tire was in the red zone. I had gotten a stupid parking ticket. Great way to start off the first day of school. I got some stuff out of my car and headed back into my apartment. Walking up three flights juggling all kinds of crap was not fun. I managed to get to the top floor, where my apartment is, when... My phone slipped from my hand and dropped through all the stairs to the very bottom. I sat my stuff down and ran down the stairs.. it was laying there .. flipped open and bent. To my suprise it had survived the fall .. well just damaged on the outside, everything on the inside still worked. I got ready and walked up the hill to my first class. It was a pretty easy class.. even though I kept thinking..what did I get myself into?.. Family Finance.. sounds easy.. doubt it will be after knowing what all the assignments will be like. . .
The rest of the week went pretty well, lots of swimming, hanging out, decorating, unpacking etc. the weekend arrived and I could finally go home and visit. While home visiting.. my phone decided that it just could not go on any longer. My screen was completely broken. I tried going to see if they could transfer my info. .. No Luck. I'm depressed. Currently I'm using a cell phone that Josh lent me... it doesn't work very well. I'm hoping I can find a stable replacement.. but until then..I'll continue to be pissed off by this stupid phone.
I miss my old apartment and Old Farm for the little things. My mattress was soft. Mine now is a rock. Sharing a bathroom with just one other person. I now share a shower and sink with two others and a whole vanity with 5 other girls. I miss having two floors and only having to walk up one flight to get to my actual apartment. My room is tiny now and I already hate it. Currently my computer and desk are out in the family room. Which is alright, and hopefully temporary. Our family room does have a dimmer on the light..which is definately luxury living. haha. It is decorated with six different paintings done by each of us roomates. It looks great. Anyways... The start of this week has been miserable as well .. but we'll see how things go. The end of the week seems to get better.

After a long sunday.. I'm gone from p-2 and home for the summer! Luckily I had a lot of help moving out of the apartment. My parents came up and my brother and his wife came over. My brother Bryan and his wife Jen hauled stuff from the apartment to the car.. Bryan couldn't understand why I had so much stuff. My mom helped me clean a ton all night long until the place was spotless. I couldn't have done it with out them.

I'm way sad that I am not gonna be living in that apartment next year.. or with Mandy. She has influenced me a lot in the past year. I am going to miss her a ton. Yeah she will be like...a foyer away from me where we are living next year..but that's just too far away haha. I can't wait to meet new roomates and make more memories. Most of all I can't wait to have a fun summer before fall!

This One Time In Provo...

Tuesday, Mandy and I went on an adventure. We drove down to Provo to hangout with Levi and his friends.

Levi is Mandy's boyfriend who is leaving on a mission way way soon.
Levi was leaving for a road trip with his friends to Cali Thursday.
Mandy is leaving Monday for a job in Washington.
They had to see each other for the last time for two years.
It was final week and I had a huge photography portfolio due on Thursday.. eek.

So we get to Provo after a long car ride of fun music.. Levi had a whole day of fun planned. It was a huge group date thing. I went with Levi's roommate Matt Johnson. The first thing we do is go eat at Beto's? I usually hate that place, but I had half of Mandy's Ham Breakfast Burrito (amazing). We then drove (in Levi's un air conditioned car) to Boondocks and hit up the batting cages. At first I was hesitant to get in there, I'm not sure how much I like the idea of balls flying out of some machine at me but, Mandy convinced me to get in there. I just did the slow soft ball. hahaha. I'm lame. It turned out to be really fun, I'm glad Mandy pushed me into it.

We then drove home and chilled for a bit. Later we went to this place (can't remember the name, like Boondocks) We got this date package that had a ton of stuff to do in them. Go Carts, Mini Golfing, 25 arcade tokens each, and two large Dip n' Dots. Very great deal. First we hit up the Go Carts, Matt and I totally beat everyone. We then went and played in the arcade for forever. I made Matt use one of his tokens on this silly game that is basically impossible...you press the button when the light hits the certain place... well who would have known.. It was possible. Matt tried for the first time, he pressed the button and *DING DING DING DING DING* *Lights flashing like crazy* It was possible...Matt got JACKPOT! It was so funny.. 550 tickets start pouring from the machine rapidly..they came out for what seemed like hours while me and him just stood in shock. Meanwhile, Levi thought he was doing amazing on the game Deal or No Deal with his twenty tickets.. He comes around the corner boasting with a big grin on his face to see the massive pile of tickets on the ground...that grin soon turned into a disbelief frown. After Matt won the Jackpot, all the guys were glued to the machine hoping they could win. Heck, even Matt and I used most of our tokens on it after the event.

We ended at the arcade with a good like 980 tickets. To the prize counter we went... So much crap to choose from. We got stupid things like tiny yo-yo's, sticky slap hand, spider rings, a tiny sword, and I got a crown that says Angel on it. haha. Mandy got one and I just had to get one like it.

We played a round of mini-golf.. I decided I'm like Adam Sandler on Happy Gilmore..I hit the ball so hard everytime..it was bouncing off things all over the place...suprisingly I didn't even lose the game. I beat Mandy by one point. hahaha. Levi took first..and was super proud of it haha.

Matt and I finally got to our Dip n' Dots.. mmmmmmmmmm. First time I had ever had them.. they made my tounge feel a little numb.

We left the place and got some Wendy's. Very fun night was sooon to end. Mandy and Levi talked and it was way sad. We had a depressing car ride for a while..it soon got a little happier haha. I had so much fun and I do not regret having to spend more time in the photo lab the next nights to make up for it.

I finished my project at 9 in the morning the day of the critique. I hadn't slept all night trying to get it done. Slept for three hours then headed back up to class. Critique was long and a ton of sugar was provided to eat..which was nasty.. I feel I did alright on my photos. I was one of the like two who did mostly portraits and in comparison to hers...they were a little better. :) So I feel pretty good about it. Next year I'm gonna work harder than ever, because I feel like I could do much better.

So I didn't end up doin my photoshoot...from my last post.

However, Im taking photos of a little boy this saturday for a friend of a friend. That should be fun. Can't wait to see how it goes.

I did end up takin a few pictures of Desiree at a soccer field. I also took some random photos of different things. It was fun. I made Desiree jump in the air like a thousand times to get good enough shots. Most still didn't work out as planned. We went and flew kites, blew bubbles, played with chalk and a blue ball from wal-mart. Most the photos taken didn't turn out very well.. it was way too windy for outdoor fun. hahaha.

i want so badly to do some studio work..i need the practice..and that's what interests me most.

Now for most, you will not understand the title of this blog. Well unless you are very musically intune, you wont understand it at all.
I recently got big news on a huge concert heading our way. No Doubt, The Sounds, and Paramore are hittin up Utah. Now.. I don't know how I'm going to be able to make it to this big (important to me) event. I have no money..which is mainly my fault.. well totally my fault. However, considering that my birthday is a month after... my mind started planning. Maybe whoever was planning on giving me a birthday gift...could just give me money in advance. 5-10 dollars even.. it'd go a long way. Now .. knowing this is a huge event.. I will have to buy the ticket far in advance to insure my possibilities of bein able to attend. That said... If you would like to give me a birthday present.. or just make an honorable donation.. It would much be appreciated by maybe let's say...May 10th?
Now I know I'm bein a little rediculous...Especially because I recently had the opportunity to attend a big concert. ... let's be honest here.. No Doubt, The Sounds, and Paramore..all top Mc Hammer and Vanilla Ice. To be fair..Love You Long Time is up there with the other three. If i were to have known that The Sounds were coming this soon.... with such amazing people... I would have for-fitted going to that show. I've been to The Sounds concert before and it was AMAZING. I can't miss this one.. they are coming with Gwen Stefani/No Doubt. She is amazing. You've got to sympathize with me and help me out!! haha.

I've waited "MUCH TOO LONG" for this and if I get to go it will be a "MIRACLE." I just don't want to miss out because I know it's gonna be "HELLA GOOD." You should even join and come "DANCE WITH ME!"

This weekend was great.

Thursday - I was lucky enough to catch Bidwell and Love You Long Time for free at the TSC up here on campus.

Friday - I got the opportunity to dress up in legit 80's attire and see Love You Long Time again... who opened for Vanilla Ice and Mc Hammer... amazing. Despite the fact that the crowd was not fun and wouldn't move ever. They were all old..and very much annoying. Mc Hammer... is old. It showed. He had to take like a ten minute break between almost every song. It was sort of pathetic..but what do we expect right. His back up dancers were amazing though. After the great show...we walked out to the car.. to find my keys locked inside. (not a fun part of the night) Almost considered breaking a window..that's how freakin cold it was. Desiree chased down a UVU security car after like 2o minutes of slowly dying. Then we went and crashed at Bridget's apartment down there in Provo.

Saturday - We woke up at lounged around almost all day long just talking about life. It was great.

Sunday - Slept and had dinner with my ma. Had a joyous ride back up to Logan with Megan, Mandy, and Andee.

And now.. now what do I get from having such a great, long weekend?...

I've got the flu.. the achy flu. Thanks Bryan and Jenn for taking me to get looked at. Now I'll just lay in bed some more..and whine.

Oh and for my two cents about the bachelorette... they should have picked Melissa to be the next Bachelorette. IDIOTS. Why I care?? Who Knows. I shouldn't.

So this last weekend Diana and I decided to go out and take pictures. She got all dolled up and I got all my equipment (including my new lens) and we went. We had no where to go, we just drove around looking for spots. Finally I gave up on trying to find somewhere cool and just went to a familiar place. Main street in bountiful against this old building. We had some fun there and got a lot of different shots. After we finished up at that spot.. we drove up fifth south and decided to stop at some reception center place. It was so cold that we didn't stay long. I hate taking pictures in the winter time for that reason. I feel bad for Diana since she was the one in the tiny dress. She is a good sport though. She wants to go into the modeling business and has asked me to do some of her portfolio work. I can't wait to go out and take more pictures of her. She is stunning.

I rarely like dogs... they are gross...and germy.. and mean.. and jumpy.. and slobbery.. and shed.. SICK. (few exceptions) Brothers dogs are not mean.. well trained. .but slobbery ..yuck.. Criscells dog..annoying and yappy but very cute and sometimes nice when he doesn't jump on me so much. His cute factor makes me like him though. He's so little. Batemans dog.. Lucky.. perfect. I love him. Only dog I absolutely don't hate. Mandy's dog.. invented dancing dirty..however he's the nicest thing ever. the end on dogs. I'll just admit.. I'm scared of dogs. haha.
I absolutely adore kittins.. however they do nothing...and shed. and claw. er.
I hate my moms bird... with a passion. She loves it more than she loves me. The way she talks to it annoys the crap out of me...I love to scare it..
too much sugar is a bad thing... very little is perfect for me.
spiders dont scare me.. or bug me.. for all you whimps out there.. pick up a shoe and smash the dang thing.. its not gonna eat you..honestly. they are actually awesome creatures.

For some reason.. every close guy friend I've had.. has this one girl friend who can't stand me and tells me to back off..and not to be friends with them anymore.. for example.. Trav's g/f Darci.. hated me. . Moroni's g/f Amanda.. hates me. . Abraham's g/f Jessica.. Hates me.. it's not like I am in love with them.. like the girls think... Trav is like a brother.. Moroni..close friend who doesn't even live here.. and hasn't since 9th grade.. Abe.. come on it's abe.. I'm suprised he had a g/f.
I hate obama.. for many reason. . he just comes off as a huge idiot.
I have bad grammer and sometimes think I'm thug.
I don't have a style.. I dress differently all the time.. Variety is the spice of life.

Steelers are amazing.
Superbowl rocked because my amazing brother Bryan and his wife made the most delicious food.
I am jealous of his great cooking skills.
oh and another reason it rocked... I was the only one at the house cheering for Steelers.
So everyone was just crying at the end, but me.

My roomates and I came up with this brilliant plan to drive down to the brigham city denny's at six in the morning just to get a free grand slam breakfast.
We are brilliant.
It's gonna be a cold, long drive.. but totally worth it.
Six... is early for me.
It'll be joyous.

I have a long day ahead of me in photo.
I have to finish printing my stupid project.

I'm sad at the thought of not stayin up till the early hours with her.. . just laughing.
But, maybe I'll just have joyous occasions like that with my other friends.
Hopefully there will be a lot of stair sledding involved.

Valentines... hmm.. I think I'm going on a date with Joshua..
Only because he had it all planned before we broke up..
and... He really wants me to go with him..and I think it should be fun.

I went and took pictures alone today.
It sucked, but at the same time was very peaceful.
I was able to just go sit on the pier and relax...it was sunny, a little cold, but nice.
I watched the ducks and geeeeeeese swim.
A ton of my pictures were of
them, not gonna lie.
I got a lot of nice tree pictures too.. like odd looking ones.
We'll see how they turned out tomorrow.
I'm not looking forward to developing my time tests.

This weeeeek should be good though.
Can't wait for the adventures that lie ahead.

Mandy Allen is the best roommate I could ask for. We often find ourselves laying in bed at 1 in the morning just chatting and laughing our heads off. We have fun when we stay up late together. Our room is almost always a crazy mess, but what college students isn't? She has such a good taste in music. Half of what I currently listen to was introduced to me by her. Her style... is hers. Very unique and awesome. I swear almost everything I use is hers. I feel so bad about that and don't really know why it happens so much. She just has EVERYTHING. haha. Mandy is very talented. She has an extremely artistic side which makes me soo jealous. She can also play the guitar and sing. She sings really good, but doesn't think she can. Well... tells me she doesn't think so. Who knows what she really thinks haha. She is so considerate and so very nice. She does this crazy mexican accent, it's hilarious and always makes me laugh. She gets scared so easily. She hates it when someone walks up the stairs behind her, afraid something might happen. She will not, WILL NOT, watch scary movies, they give her nightmares. Mandy is terrified of earthquakes and is convinced one is soon going to happen. I love to jump out and scare Mandy every chance I get. Mandy is so intelligant and awesome. I look up to her in many ways. I'm so lucky I have a roommate that is so great.

80's Night.

Desiree and I dressed up and went to 80's night at Stupid 600 with some of her friends. Well.. turns out it was hip hop night instead. We all felt a lil stupid. However, we just stayed and had a blast.

Stair Sledding.

Desiree and I were bored out of our minds and decided that we should go sledding down the stairs. Thankfully Maren let us use her sleeping bag which made the experience way better. The pillows we were using weren't sliding very well. I was the first to try the Sleeping bag and it worked very well. I'll post the video of that a little later.

Spice Girls?

We were listening to Spice Girls when Desiree and I came up with this brilliant idea to dressup like them. We did so and made funny music videos (to come later) and made a complete fool out of ourselves. We had fun though. Andee was Ginger, Maren was Scary, I was Baby, Mandy was Sporty, and Des was Posh.

Desiree and I wanted to dress up like guys. So we did - - we put on Rap music and hip hoped haha. We krumped or so we tried. Krump it, Krump it, Krump it. Everyone just watched and laughed at us. haha. we looked rediculous. Who really cares though right! Mandy made delicious apple pie..It was amazing.

College continues to make me feel worthless.

The one non art class I actually had made me feel very un-intelligent.

Can't even figure out my Photography 2 class.

Who knew what I love to do could make me feel like I'm failing at life.

Photography use to be fun.. Now it's another thing I just can't do.

I don't have a job...which makes me feel like a moooooocher.

I've come to the conclusion that I can't live with out my mother.

I try... But I can't seem to do it.

I can't cook.. I try.. and things just dont turn out.

I can make cookies (from a package), top roman, canned chili, canned fruit, frozen pizza, canned french cut beans, instant mashed potatoes (barely), scrambled eggs (that are nasty), country time lemonade (add to water and stir), and orange fruit salad (the only thing i'm proud of).

Maybe this semester I'll learn more.... hopefully not more canned or frozen things.

I've met about....... 0 guys that I'm remotely interested in.

I've noticed that.. I have very little talents.

The only positive thing I have learned is that.. People can suprise you, change you, inspire you, and amaze you.

I woke up at six thirty in the morning to go take pictures with my friend from photography class, Caitlyn. We had to do self portraits. It was not fun at all. I was tired... and to make it worse... It was raining and freezing! After taking pictures of ourselves... I realized that I wanted to take pictures of Cailyn for me to have. She just looked way pretty, her eyes especially! So I told her not to move and ran back to my car to get my digital camera. I ended up getting some neat ones of her even though the taking pictures of myself failed. So I guess ruining my white sneakers with mud and even dog crap... ended up being okay, because it turned out to be a good picture taking day.

A Problem Often Over-Looked.

I did this for a photography assignment. However, I changed it a little. The assignment was to create a series of photos that tells a story or sequence. For the actual assignment, I was using the idea of Bulimia. First photo of the sequence was a picture of my beautiful roommate, Maren, staring in the mirror.. hating her body.. Second photo was a picture of her by the toilet.. hunched over and miserable looking. Third and final was this image. .. We made her make up look like her eyes had been sunk in. Didn't really turn out very good... Then had her suck in as much as possible.. which was difficult considering she is actually pretty buff, she works out a ton, so her abs would show. For this actual picture I used a little bit of photoshop to bring out her ribs and to slim down her stomach. Promise. . she's not that disgusting. Maren is a model and she is beautiful. She is nothing but sweet to me and I appreciate that. I had an awesome time doing this assignment. In critique everyone mentioned how.. we all bring up suicide, romance, sex, drugs, etc. in our photos.. but no one has ever touched base with eating disorders. That is exactly why I decided to create this image. Even though they consider this generation as an "obese" one, there are still girls out there who have major eating disorders. We need to acknowledge this. It's sad that one can acquire such a bad problem. Girls should focus more on how beautiful they are as a person, not their appearance. It's an issue that should be talked about and focused on at a young age.. and continued to be focused on. Everyone is beautiful on the inside and out.

So I was just minding my own one day when I got a call from Shelly. She told me that this girl who knows her friend saw the pictures I did of Shelly and loved them. She wanted me to do her engagements. Naturally I was a little freaked out. I've never done such a thing. Although scared, I was really excited to try something new. The girls name is Allyson, she is way nice. So we planned and executed. I had a lot of fun doin the photos. I am glad someone gave me the opportunity to try something like this. I'm working on them still, but I have a few to put up on here.
